TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

SANTA MONICA, CA (December 6, 2005) - Custom furniture and accessories, together with a signature look that relies on clean lines, warm textures, and unexpected materials, are the highlights of the work of two new interior designers in the Los Angeles area, Sarah Shetter and Alison Palevsky for SPI.  

SPI has completed seven residential and two commercial projects since the company was founded by Shetter and Palevsky nearly two years ago. Projects include residences and commercial spaces in Los Angeles, New York City and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. "Our work has taken us across the country and to Mexico," says Palevsky, "but now we're really excited to finally be able to show what we've done on the web. The line of custom furnishings is just a start."

The website includes images and descriptions of the firm's most recent projects, many of which involved substantial renovations and construction. "I think what makes SPI unique from other interior design firms is that we oversee all phases of a project from construction to the installation of furniture, art and accessories," says Sarah Shetter. "Our work develops out of a mutual passion shared by us and our clients, who are interested in doing something unusual and interesting."
